Barcelona Stars Visit Roony Bardghji After Successful Surgery

Barcelona teammates Pedri, Gavi, Alejandro Balde and Héctor Fort have visited Roony Bardghji in hospital to show their support following the young winger’s knee surgery.
The four players reportedly went to the hospital on Wednesday to be with Bardghji after he underwent a successful operation for a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.

FC Barcelona confirmed that Bardghji’s surgery was successfully completed at Hospital de Barcelona under the supervision of the club’s medical services.

The injury is a major setback for the 20-year-old Sweden international, who suffered the ACL rupture during training.
Barcelona confirmed the injury on August 11 and said surgery would be required.

Bardghji has already experienced a serious knee injury in the past, making this latest setback particularly difficult as he looks to establish himself at Barcelona.

Despite the difficult circumstances, the visit from Pedri, Gavi, Balde and Fort offered a show of support from his teammates as he begins the rehabilitation process.

Bardghji joined Barcelona from FC Copenhagen and made 28 competitive appearances for the club during the 2025/26 season, registering two goals and four assists.

The Swedish winger is now expected to face a lengthy period of rehabilitation before he can return to competitive football.

The gesture from his Barcelona teammates highlights the strong support around Bardghji as he begins what could be a challenging road back to full fitness.
